One product. It is called Helpfol.

Helpfol is a platform for small and medium businesses. It holds the record of a business - hours, services, photos, contact details, announcements - and turns that record into the business's presence online: a page, and when the owner is ready, a website. Both are outputs of the same record, not separate products bought separately.

Everything built to date has been paid for by the founder. Nojiin is open to investment from people who understand the businesses it serves - it is not waiting on it.

How we operate

Four commitments, already in writing

These are the same four that appear on the trust page. They are repeated here because they are the closest thing this company has to a constitution.

  Export it anytime. Delete everything, and it is gone. Your data is never sold, and it is never held hostage on the way out.

  No fake countdown timers, no guilt-trip buttons, no maze to cancel. Leaving Helpfol is as easy as joining it - we would rather earn your stay.

  On the business's side

  No public star ratings, no anonymous reviews, no comparison boxes. Helpfol is built for the people who run businesses, not for judging them.

  What we actually track

  We count visits and page views to make Helpfol better - anonymously where possible, and never for sale.

How the money works

Your business page is free.

As Helpfol grows - a full website, more capabilities - paid offerings will be priced plainly, and you will always see the price before you pay anything.

1. The free page is the front door. The website, and each capability a business switches on, are what is paid for.
2. Prices are set per business category, close to what that category already pays for the tools Helpfol replaces.
3. Seasonal plans: a business with a peak season scales down in the quiet months instead of cancelling.

And the behaviour that comes with it

• Cancel any time. Not because it is generous, but because a business that cannot leave is not a customer.
• No usage metering. Bill shock frightens small businesses.
• If a lower plan suits a business better, we would rather say so.

Where this is going

The back office that small businesses in Australia run on - and then the same, in other countries.

Every capability below reads and writes the same business record the page and the website come from. That is the whole idea: one record, more of the business run from it, and never another subscription that does not know about the others.

How it is built

Foundations, not MVP.

The goal is an infrastructure that holds up for the situations a real business gets into, then using that infrastructure to serve them. It is tested by delivering something real through it.

Helpfol runs on Google Cloud and is hosted in the United States.

Helpfol is in early access. The product is evolving, features will change. When there are customers worth quoting, they will be real ones with names attached. Until then this page will keep saying what it says now.
